Tracc films - Other website I am comparing with.
This is the home page, the video is apples corporate video and the name is something I quickly come up with. I wanted to make the home page quite simple but I wanted to make sure it looked professional and smart.
This is Traccs home page, there is a lot of everything everywhere and loads of videos on the first page, it doesn't look very professional in my eyes as there is too much and too many adds, although there is a lot of information to be found everywhere on the first page it might be confusing for some viewers.
This particular part on the tracc website is interesting because it tells you the five steps and process that it goes through to make your corporate video which is good for knew customers so they know exactly what they're getting themselves into, how long it takes and what steps it takes to get there.
This is my 'about' page I haven't wrote a lot but its short, sharp and snappy just enough to grab the viewers attention although I feel it could use a bit more text and detail to tell the viewers what the company is really about.
This is traccs 'about' page, there is a lot of good and useful information which I think could have an impact on my website, this page is packed with information and reviews from their recent clients.
This is the services page from my on website I added another corporate video and a small paragraph and list of services the business does with a short paragraph of how we do it, looking at other corporate video websites I would need to add more detail to compete with the other ones.
This page is the services that Tracc films offers, as you can see at the top of the page are the services they offer with hyperlinks to their services like animation and corporate. I like this website because its not loads of writing, it just key points and pictures which makes the website eye-catching.
This is the 'contact us' page, on this page I added a fake number and email for now, obviously I will put contact addresses and numbers when I have a real website, I also added opening times and you can see that the phones and email service is open until 9pm on a weekday, this is a key point of the company because people that want a corporate video for their company are usually working all day so having the lines open until 21.00 is convenient. I also added a name, message, email and subject box for those who can quickly send in a message of what they want (roughly) and we can send back a rough quote so they know how much money they are spending before anything further, finally on this page I added social network buttons for those who find it easier to reach via social networking, there is also a Skype button that clients can call for the customer service team to assist them with anything.
This is traccs 'contact us' page and is very simple and short, the page included an email address and contact numbers with a few social network icons but does not include prices or quotes, I think that the site could use this as clients may be unsure of what to do.
This is my last page which is for the clients only, this makes it easier for recent clients to track their order and see how long it will take until it is done, for the website when they click the button 'track my order' it would be redirected to a page that would tell you whats been done, what needs to be done and the product will be ready.
I think that both of the websites are quite similar in a way and my own website would not have been done without examples from Tracc Films or any other corporate video websites, Tracc Films website has made a massive impact on mine, the only thing I think could use updating or chaining would be the contact us page.
This is one of Traccs corporate videos, the description does not say much about how they made the film or what they had to do to ensure eBay liked it which I think they could use to attract more potential clients.
In my website I would state what kind of themes we would use for different types of companies but I would also say that we take their business on board before anything, so they know they are going to get something that suits their company and business.
On the Tracc website it does not say anything about price, staffing or packages although it does say about their services, I think Tracc could benefit from adding these elements in, on my website I have aded an instant quote box for the potential clients so they know exactly what they're getting in to.
The services both have their own pages on each website which i have stated above, earlier on in this page.
There were no contracts or documents showing legal and ethical issues on the Tracc Website, I think you have to send in a quote to receive any legal documents. On my website I have added a couple of shot paragraphs about legal documents and issues.
Tracc films engages with the clients by having social networking profiles this is convenient for most people as nearly everyone is on a social network site they also have an email which is more confidential for some other clients.
For my ClearProductions website I have also added social networking icons, a number with opening times, an email, a quote box with a message and subject box and a Skype call icon to make it easier for potential clients, there is a way of contact for everyone this way.

This is by the message box so clients can consider the questions when seeing in their query.
The questions are guidelines but can be used for real clients, I would add more to it with a bit more detail so I know exactly what the clients wants, when they need it and all the other questions.
