Technical Portfolio – After Effects
Checklist – To include in your portfolio:
• You will hand in a portfolio of all
your annotations and examples. This week you should screen grab and answer the
following questions:

On a word document, analyse the title, How do you think they were
created, try to break down each element of live action and motion graphics,
who is the target audience and how have they been targeted. Do you like the
sequence or not? Explain.

Create a title sequence – minimum 10 seconds – Film a background, add
titles, animate the titles using scale and preset motion path. You must
storyboard this!

Create a title sequence explaining frame rates, make sure you include
information on 24fps, 25fps, 29.97fps, 48fps and 60fps – why and when are
they used.

Look at 3 idents and analyse how they were constructed, who is the
target audience, what is the meaning behind them.
